Camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. YMCA Summer Day Camp provides outdoor activities, sports, arts, crafts, games, and summer adventures.
About Our Program
Day camp at the YMCA is like a home away from home, where kids laugh, learn, explore and grow in the outdoors, while creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime.
- For children ages 5*-12 (*Campers must have completed kindergarten)
- Dedicated, well-trained camp counselors
- Publicly funded child care participants are welcome
- Financial assistance is available for those who qualify
Our Curriculum
Our school age program offers fun weekly themes that align with Ohio’s Common Core K-12 state standards. The curriculum includes activities in the following areas:
- Arts & humanities
- Character development
- Large motor & fitness
- Literacy
- Science and Math
- STEM
- Nutrition
- Service Learning Projects
COVID-19 Safety Measures
We are taking numerous precautions to keep your children and our staff safe:
- Staff and children will have their temperatures taken upon arrival each day
- High touch surfaces (toys, tables, chairs, etc.) will be disinfected after each use.
- Tables, chairs and other seating areas will be cleaned and sanitized:
- prior to beginning of the day
- before and after lunch/snacks
- and before departure for the day
Learning materials will be sprayed with a light mist of sanitizing solution as they are rotated out of use (multiple times a day) and prior to departure of the program.
Camp Rates
Full-Time (4-5 days)
Full facility member: $105/week
Program Member: $130/week
Part-Time (1-3 days)
Full facility member: $75/week
Program Member: $95/week
There is a $5 registration fee per child. Each week of summer day camp requires a $25 deposit, which is applied towards tuition. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Non-YMCA members must purchase an annual program membership prior to registering. Get more information on rates here.
