Celebrate Belonging With Us

September 10–19, 2026

At the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, everyone has a place and everyone has something to contribute. During Welcoming Week, we celebrate the people, cultures and experiences that make our communities stronger.

From September 10–19, the YMCA of Greater Cleveland will join YMCAs and communities across the country in bringing neighbors together, celebrating different cultures and creating opportunities to connect.

Whether you have been part of the Y for years or are just getting to know us, you are welcome here.

Everyone is Welcome Here

What Is Welcoming Week?

Welcoming Week is an annual celebration that brings together people from different backgrounds to build connections, encourage cross-cultural understanding and celebrate what unites us as neighbors.

At the Y, strengthening community starts by creating spaces where people can meet, learn from one another and feel a sense of belonging. Welcoming Week gives us an opportunity to celebrate that commitment across Greater Cleveland.

Belonging Begins with Us

Everyone Is Welcome at the Y

Our Y brings together people of different ages, backgrounds and experiences through fitness, youth programs, swimming, sports, volunteering, community events and much more. These everyday connections help make Greater Cleveland a stronger place for all of us.
