Preschool Summer Camp at the Warrensville Heights Family YMCA
Our Preschool Summer Camp is specially designed for young learners ages 3–5 who are potty trained. This camp blends the fun and excitement of summer with the structure and nurturing support of a high-quality early childhood program.
Led by caring, experienced preschool teachers, children enjoy a safe, engaging environment where they can build confidence, make friends, and continue developing important skills before kindergarten.

Affordable & Accessible for Families
The YMCA is committed to making high-quality preschool summer camp accessible to all families. We provide needs-based scholarships to make camp more affordable. We take several factors into consideration and use them to determine your rate. Download our financial assistance application here.
We proudly accept vouchers (PFCC), and financial assistance scholarships are available for eligible families — covering up to 95% of program costs.

At YMCA Preschool Camp, every day is filled with age-appropriate activities that help children learn through play, movement, and exploration.

Our Preschool Camp Curriculum
Our Preschool Summer Camp supports kindergarten readiness through a curriculum based on the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning and Development Standards.
We focus on the whole child, helping children grow in all developmental areas through play-based learning and guided activities. Key areas include:
- 1:11 Staff to child ratio
- Early literacy and language development
- Foundational math skills
- Science exploration and discovery
- Social and emotional development
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Health, wellness, and physical development
- Diversity and learning about the world around them
Our goal is to help children gain the confidence and skills they need for school, while still having a joyful, memorable summer camp experience.
