Questions About Eligibility & Treatment
Y-Haven is a residential treatment and transitional housing program for adults experiencing substance use disorder. The program also provides support for mental health, housing, and re-entry needs.
Y-Haven serves adults age 21 and older seeking treatment for drug or alcohol addiction. Applicants must be medically and psychiatrically stable and able to manage daily activities.
Yes. Y-Haven serves individuals experiencing both substance use and mental health conditions.
Yes. Y-Haven welcomes individuals receiving approved medications such as Suboxone, Methadone, Sublocade, and Vivitrol.
Services include addiction treatment, counseling, case management, health care coordination, medication monitoring, employment support, and housing assistance.
Living at Y-Haven
Y-Haven provides private bedrooms in furnished suites with shared kitchens and bathrooms. Staff are present 24 hours a day.
Residents participate in treatment, counseling, and group sessions. Y-Haven is an alcohol- and drug-free environment. As residents progress through the program, they may begin working, volunteering, or participating in job training.
Residents may bring up to two bags of belongings, identification, insurance information if available, and essential medications in their original containers.
Staff will complete admission paperwork, screening, medication inventory, room assignment, and orientation. You'll receive a key and meet your counselor.
Insurance & Program Costs
Yes. Health insurance is required for participation in Y-Haven. If you don't currently have coverage, Y-Haven staff can help you apply.
According to the supplied FAQ, the resident fee is 30% of income, up to $250 per month. Residents without income are not required to pay a fee for the first six months. After six months, the stated fee is $250 per month.
Admissions & Getting Started
