Eighty-eight million American adults — more than one out of three — have prediabetes and the majority do not know they have it. With prediabetes your blood sugar levels are higher than normal but not high enough to be diagnosed as type 2 diabetes. 

It can be easy to become intimidated by the idea of working one on one with a fitness professional.  Often people feel they are not “in shape” enough to do so after seeing the trainer with a client doing workouts they know they could not do.
