Mission Moment: Cavs girls showcase their skills during Cavs halftime

Last month, our young athletes took the court at Rocket Arena during halftime of the Cleveland Cavs game, showcasing their skills in a 5-on-5 basketball game. This exciting event is part of our annual partnership with the Cavs, giving our YMCA Jr. Cavs players the chance to shine at such a big stage. While this event was for our girl participants, Jr.

Running only part of the Y's youth marathoners' training

The young people in our We Run This City youth marathon program completed their first run of the 2025 Run Season early last month at the Chili Bowl Run in downtown Cleveland. We had five schools and more than 60 runners participate! Next, they ran at the 2025 St. Malachi Church Run on March 15.
