Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple the chances of survival after cardiac arrest. You can learn CPR, basic first aid and AED (automated external defibrillator) training at the Y.

For your convenience, the courses are taught in a blended learning environment, meaning there is online training you can do at your pace in the comfort of your home, along with in-person skill teaching at the Y. Here are the details:

  • What: Choose between CPR (adult, child, infant); AED and/or First Aid training
  • When: At least two locations at YMCA of Greater Cleveland branches in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties will offer training
  • Fee: The cost varies depending on the type and number of components you choose, but you can expect the price to range from $50 to $150 per component.
