Youth Performance & Sports Training

Help young athletes build confidence, improve performance, and develop healthy habits that last a lifetime. These programs focus on strength, agility, coordination, injury prevention, and overall athletic development.

Programs Beginning in June

Iron Kids

A youth performance training program designed for ages 7–12. Participants learn proper movement mechanics, agility, strength training fundamentals, flexibility, and healthy habits while embracing the YMCA's "1% Better" philosophy.

Starts: June 23

Iron Teens

Designed for teens ages 13–16, Iron Teens teaches safe and effective strength training, workout planning, lifting techniques, machine usage, and conditioning in a supportive environment.

YMCA Academy Football Performance Training

Preseason training focused on football-specific strength, speed, power, and injury prevention.

Starts: June 8

YMCA Academy Soccer Performance Training

A comprehensive preseason program focused on soccer-specific strength, agility, endurance, and athletic performance.

YMCA Academy Volleyball Performance Training

Develop vertical power, agility, shoulder stability, and explosive movement for volleyball success.

Youth Ballet

Introduce young dancers to the fundamentals of ballet while developing confidence, coordination, discipline, and creativity.

Women on Weights

Ready to take your training to the next level? This structured 8-week strength program focuses on progressive training, muscle development, body composition, and overall fitness improvement.

Summer Sweat

A fun outdoor-focused bootcamp designed to improve endurance, strength, and cardiovascular fitness while enjoying the summer weather.

Starts: June 1

TRX & Kettlebell E.M.O.M.

A fast-paced strength and conditioning workout combining TRX suspension training and kettlebell exercises in an efficient interval format.

Women on Free Weights

Learn how to confidently use dumbbells, kettlebells, cables, and other free-weight equipment with guidance from YMCA personal trainers.

Starts: July 6–8 (various sessions)

Good Glutes

Learn proper use of the Glute Builder equipment while progressing through guided strength circuits designed to build lower-body strength and confidence.

Summer Boot Camp

A supportive group training program focused on strength, endurance, accountability, and healthy habit formation.

A proven 10-week wellness program that combines exercise, nutrition education, accountability, body composition tracking, and coaching to help participants reach their weight-loss goals.
