What You’ll Do
As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor, you will:
- Lead games, activities, and outdoor adventures
- Provide direct supervision for a group of children
- Keep campers safe and engaged at all times
- Support positive behavior and teamwork
- Attend field trips and special events
- Serve as a role model who lives out YMCA values
You’ll help create a camp experience that kids remember for a lifetime.
What You’ll Need
- We’re looking for candidates who are:
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 1 year of experience working with children (camp experience is a plus!)
Willing to complete required trainings and certifications within 30 days
Bonus if you love:
Sports, aquatics, outdoor activities, music, skits, or recreational games!
