The United States has long been shaped by newcomers, people who have come from around the world to study, work, build new lives or seek safety. Each brings unique experiences, traditions and perspectives that enrich our communities.
From September 10–19, the YMCA of Greater Cleveland will join Ys nationwide in celebrating Welcoming Week. This annual celebration brings together immigrant and U.S.-born neighbors to build connections, learn from one another and recognize the many contributions that make our communities stronger.
Our branches are planning a variety of Welcoming Week activities for members of all backgrounds. Visit your local Y, take part and help us celebrate the diversity, belonging and shared values that unite us.
