Y-Haven provides treatment, transitional housing and supportive services for adults working toward recovery from substance use disorder.

Y-Haven accepts self-referrals as well as referrals from family members, health care providers, community organizations and other professionals. Admissions take place twice a week.

Who Can Participate?

Y-Haven serves:

  • Single adults age 21 and older
  • Individuals seeking recovery from substance use disorder
  • Individuals who may also be experiencing homelessness
  • Individuals returning to the community after incarceration
  • Individuals seeking recovery from opioid use disorder
  • Individuals with physical or mental health diagnoses who are actively engaged with an appropriate provider and following their treatment plan
  • Individuals who can successfully function in a semi-independent living environment

Y-Haven serves individuals regardless of their ability to pay.

What Support Is Available?

Treatment

Depending on individual needs, Y-Haven offers residential treatment, intensive outpatient treatment and outpatient treatment for substance use disorder.

Mental Health Support

Counseling and treatment groups help residents address mental health alongside substance use recovery.

Recovery Housing

Residents participating in treatment can access transitional housing in a structured and supportive environment.

Health Services

Residents have access to a Y-Haven nurse, a health clinic in the building and nearby hospitals.

Case Management

Case managers help residents navigate practical needs such as income, benefits, insurance, housing and other resources.

Employment & Education

Y-Haven connects residents with employment opportunities, education and job-training resources.

Wellness & Recovery

Residents can participate in activities such as meditation, yoga, exercise, dance and crafts, along with specialized treatment groups and other supportive programming.

Planning for Life Beyond Y-Haven

The goal is to help residents move toward permanent housing, employment, continued recovery and greater independence. Follow-up care is also available after leaving the program.

What Can I Expect?

Choosing treatment can feel like a big step. You may have questions about where you'll live, what treatment will look like, what happens afterward or whether you can afford services.

You don't have to have all the answers before you reach out.
