Types of Camps
The YMCA of Greater Cleveland knows that every kid is different. That's why we offer a variety of camps for each individual child's needs. From summer camps to holiday camps, we’re confident you’ll find one that’s a good fit.
Summer Day Camp
Ages K–14
Campers discover not just the fun of day camp but the joy of exploring their unique traits, talents, and interests. Our summer camp programs help campers discover what they are passionate about, form relationships, and obtain a sense of belonging.
Sports Camp
Ages K–12
Sports camps offer youth specific sports training and are designed to teach sports skills, fair play, teamwork, and sportsmanship while reinforcing the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
Fine Arts Camp
Ages K–12
Summer arts camp is a combination of performing and visual arts with a varying weekly theme. Campers will engage in fun activities that will stimulate the creative nature of each participant.
Science Camp
Ages K–12
Science Camp helps kids expand their horizons and worldly knowledge through an interactive, engaging curriculum that varies week to week. Our wide variety of topics range from life on earth all the way to outer space.
Preschool Camp
Ages 3–5
Designed for preschool-age children, Little Explorers combines play, creativity, and age-appropriate activities to support learning, social development, and fun in a supportive setting.
Teen Camp
Ages 14–18
Y Leaders Academy is a leadership and workforce-readiness camp for teens that focuses on life skills, teamwork, and personal growth through hands-on activities, fitness, and community engagement.
Holiday Camps
Ages K–12
Holiday camps offer campers time to discover what they are passionate about, form relationships, and obtain a sense of belonging during the holidays!
