Iron Teens is a dynamic 8-week strength and conditioning program designed specifically for teens. Whether your teen is new to fitness or looking to take their training to the next level, this program offers a safe, supportive, and structured environment where they can grow both physically and mentally. 

💪 What to Expect 

This isn’t just about lifting weights. Iron Teens emphasizes: 

  • Safe and proper technique for weightlifting
  • Use of cardio and strength machines
  • Spotting, workout structure, and gym etiquette
  • Weekly challenges to inspire accountability and growth 

Through interactive coaching and hands-on sessions, participants build the knowledge and habits needed to stay active for life.

Each season of Iron Teens focuses on small, consistent progress—becoming 1% better every day. We reinforce values like:

  • Healthy choices on and off the gym floor 

Participants are encouraged to bring their best selves not just to the gym, but to school, home, and their community. 

📅 Program Sessions & Dates – 2026 

  • Winter: January 10 – February 28
  • Spring: March 7 – April 25
  • Spring 2: May 2 – June 20
  • Summer: June 27 – August 15
  • Fall 1: September 5 – October 24
  • Fall 2: November 7 – December 26 

Time: Saturdays from 8:00 – 9:30 AM

  • YMCA Members: $95
  • Non-Members: $150
