Gentle Yoga is a welcoming, slow-paced class that focuses on foundational postures, intentional breathing, and mindful movement. Designed to support participants of all levels—especially those new to yoga, returning from injury, or looking for a restorative option—this class offers a nurturing environment where you can enhance flexibility, improve balance, and reduce stress without strain or pressure.

At the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, Gentle Yoga is about progress, not perfection. It's a space to connect with your body, breathe deeply, and leave feeling refreshed.

All of our instructors are highly trained and hold a minimum of 200-hour yoga certification or equivalent discipline-specific credentials, ensuring that every class is led with expertise, safety, and care.
