The Y offers programs to help you manage your blood pressure, stress levels, and body weight. But did you know that an 85-year Harvard study proves that improving relationships also improve your heart health? 

Thus, in honor of Mother's Day, the Y invites you to reach out to a woman who has nurtured you in some way. A dear friend? A fun aunt? A former teacher? A kind neighbor? 

Send her a concise (two- to three-sentence) note thanking her. It will be even more impactful if you write it in your handwriting and send it via postal mail. Your thoughtfulness will warm her heart, and your heart will become healthier.
