For over 50 years, SELREC (the South Euclid Lyndhurst Recreation Consortium) has been meeting the recreational needs of residents of South Euclid and Lyndhurst.
Over the years, we have grown into a recreation/ community education hybrid, and today we offer more than 500 courses to children, youth, adults and seniors.
In the summer of 2010, we formed a partnership with the the Hillcrest Y, and families can now enroll their children in before and after-school care classes offered by the Y.
Good health, friendships and opportunities for sharing family time are all endless benefits of recreation. We invite you to create a personal lifelong learning plan...enrich your mind, enlighten your spirit, and exercise your body through the many courses offered through SELREC.
We want your feedback! Please take a moment to fill out our online survey (click here).
University Heights Recreational Partnership
The recreational partnership between SELREC and the City of University Heights allows all University Heights residents to register for any SELREC classes, camps, and programs at the South Euclid-Lyndhurst resident rate. The City of University Heights will then reimburse SELREC for the difference between the Resident and Non-resident fees.

SELREC Commissioners
SELREC continues to have the benefit of a dedicated committee of volunteers who blend their civic commitment and enthusiasm to further facilitate the mission of SELREC. These individuals provide valuable input and creative solutions for a healthy community.

Scholarship Fund
Give the Gift of Fun & Recreation! Each year we provide a significant amount of Financial assistance, but we are not able to meet all the needs of the community. You can help by making a donation to SELREC'S "Recreation for Youth" Scholarship Fund. The fund provides financial assistance to residents who would not otherwise be able to participate in our programs or activities. If you would like to make a donation or are in need of assistance, please contact us.
