WHAT IS SPORTS CAMP?
YMCA Sports Camp focuses on improving sport skills through teamwork and friendly competition. There will be a variety of sports to choose from with each session lasting one week. Sports campers will be given the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, and play games.
WHO IS SPORTS CAMP FOR?
Youth ages 6-12 who have interest in developing sport specific skills and making friends.
WHAT IS DONE IN EACH CAMP?
Each camp will have the following: pool time or water activity, lunch, snack, skills sessions, games, and free time.
Themes vary by location. Click the "Find Your Camp" on the left, then go under camp flyer and view themes, cost, and other important camp information.
Basketball Camp: Campers learn skills which help improve shooting, passing, and dribbling. Individual skill sessions will be held in the morning and team games will be played in the afternoon.
Baseball Camp: Campers will learn skills which help improve fielding and hitting. Morning sessions will focus on fielding drills and afternoon sessions will focus on hitting and games.
Fun Games Camp: Fun Games Camp will focus on non-traditional sports and other activities. Games will include capture the flag, Disc Golf, dodgeball, Beach Games, etc: This week will focus on different summer time activities to have fun.
Soccer Camp: Soccer camp will focus on developing skills to improve offensive and defensive performance. Players will participate in individual skills during the morning session and focus on team games in the afternoon session.
Flag Football Camp: Flag Football Camp will focus on developing skills needed in football. Participants will learn to pass, receive, run effective routes, defend, and understand play calls. Games will take place throughout the camp.
Volleyball Camp: Campers will participate in skills and drills to help improve the essential skills in volleyball like serving, setting, bumping, spiking, rules, positions, and floor rotations. Campers focus on skills and drills in the morning and scrimmages/game like activities in the afternoon.
All Sport: All sport camp is a combination of all of the camp weeks. Campers will be engaging in a multitude of sports including basketball, baseball, soccer, football, volleyball, and non traditional sports. Both drills and skills and scrimmages

3 Day Week - $70.00/week
Full Week - $125.00/week
3 Day Week - $85.00/week
Before enrolling for camp, All Non-Members must pay a $25.00 Program Membership fee that will be active for one full year.
