Volunteers receive Triangle Awards at Annual Meeting

(April 28, 2011) At the Greater Cleveland Y, volunteers are the heart of our mission.

Hundreds of volunteers are involved in all aspects of our organization, leading our boards of directors and committees, raising funds, coaching sports teams, motivating and supporting youth, extending a hand to help adults who want to do more, and advocating for the Y’s efforts to influence policies and initiatives.

At our Annual Meeting in spring, the Association honors one volunteer from each branch who exemplifies the Y’s four core values of Honesty, Respect, Responsibility and Caring in their everyday lives. Additionally, service awards are given for Leadership, Aquatics, and Lifelong Learning.

This year's awards were given out on April 28 at Butler Hall.
