PNC Bank and YMCA announce new partnership to support employee health and wellness

PNC logo (July 23, 2010) PNC Bank and the Greater Cleveland YMCA have formed a partnership to provide PNC employees with health and wellness programs and services.

The partnership with the Y is part of PNC's Living Well Initiative, an innovative program that helps employees improve their physical wellness and manage work/ life responsibilities.

PNC employees will now have access to a wide variety of fitness and wellness opportunities including comprehensive cardio, weight and strength training, and more than 20 types of exercise classes, at reduced membership rates.

Ongoing YMCA Partnership benefits include reduced membership fees. If you choose to join the Greater Cleveland YMCA, the YMCA will waive the regular initiation fee of $100 and PNC will subsidize a portion of the membership dues as follows:

For new members: A $25 up front credit against your first month's membership. YMCA of Greater Cleveland membership rates begin at $35 for an individual and $52 for a family, but vary according to branch location. CLICK HERE to access the rates for all Greater Cleveland YMCA branches.
For all members: If you use the YMCA facilities at least eight times in any month, you'll receive a $10 reduction off your next month's membership. This reduction will apply for every month in which you meet the usage requirements.
For current members: PNC employees who are already members of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland are also eligible for the reduction.
