The Y is proud to be a sponsor of this year's A Race for Maggie's Place, a walk/ run that raises money for Maggie's Place.

Maggie’s Place is a community of homes that provide hospitality for pregnant women that are alone or on the streets.

Participants can pick up their race-day packets at the Y Express in Parmatown Mall on designated days prior to the race to avoid delays:

Friday, 9/17 from 4 to 7 pm
Saturday, 9/18 from 11 am to 3 pm

About Maggie's Place
The organization has two-fold strategy in assisting mothers to grow. First, Maggie’s Place provides for the immediate physical and emotional needs of our guests including shelter, food, clothing, and a supportive community. As such, we are a family and a community!

In addition, Maggie’s Place connects the mothers to the appropriate agencies and resources including prenatal care, health insurance, low-cost housing, and education programs. In doing so, they are supporting the mother in both her short-term and long-term goals!
