YMCA plans fundraiser with Cleveland Gladiators for July 10

Join the YMCA on Saturday, July 10, as the Cleveland Gladiators take on the Spokane Shock at Quicken Loans Arena (The Q).
A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the YMCA of Greater Cleveland.
Ticket prices are $13 and $22. Kick-off is at 7 pm.

The Cleveland Gladiators, who clinched a playoff berth in 2007, are currently 4-5 for the 2010 season.
About Arena Football
Arena football is played exclusively indoors, in arenas usually designed for either basketball or ice hockey teams.
Some AFL players have gone on to compete in the NFL, most notably Kurt Warner. Warner played for the University of Northern Iowa and then the Iowa Barnstormers, taking the Barnstormers to Arena Bowl X in 1996 and Arena Bowl XI in 1997.
Others include Oronde Gadsden, Jay Feely, Rob Bironas, and Paul Justin. Former Arena League MVP, Jay Gruden (brother of Jon Gruden), went on to coach the UFL team, Florida Tuskers.
About the Gladiators
Former Cleveland Browns Quarterback Bernie Kosar is president of football operations for the team and a minority owner. The Gladiators play their home games at Quicken Loans Arena, the home of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters.
On March 3, 2007 the Gladiators played their inaugural game in Quicken Loans Arena, a 61-49 win over the New York Dragons.Raymond Philyaw, the team's quarterback, was named the offensive player of the game after throwing for five touchdowns. The team's first season in Cleveland was a successful one, as they went on to have a winning record of 9-7. On June 21, the clinched a playoff berth with a 47-35 win against the Columbus Destroyers as well as home field advantage for the first round.
