SUPPORT FOR OUR NEIGHBORS
The YMCA of Greater Cleveland is committed to nurturing the potential of youth through building confidence at summer camp, academic enrichment in safe afterschool programs, and foundational skills and values in our child care programs; to improve the nation’s health and well-being through combating obesity and chronic disease by providing the support and resources people need to make positive change; and to give back and support our neighbors by empowering people with the resources to improve their lives and connect and contribute to the community, such as with job training, housing, and offering programs and services to children, adults and families who need financial assistance. We can proudly say that we have served those in our community by first listening to their requests and then responding to their needs for 160 years.
Together we’re changing the lives of children, adults and families across Northeast Ohio.
ADVANCING OUR CAUSE
It is an exciting time to be a part of the YMCA of Greater Cleveland where strengthening community is our cause.
From athletics to academic achievement, healthy bodies to disease prevention, and unlimited fun to unlimited possibilities, our Y is doing so much more. We serve over 100,000 people in Northeast Ohio through programs that nurture the potential of our youth, improve the health and well-being of children and adults, and provide help and hope to our neighbors. Our commitment to strengthen communities across the Greater Cleveland region is stronger than ever.
Our members, volunteers, staff, and partners – each person in the Y movement – is a critical piece to our success. We all share a passion
for strengthening our community.
