In case you missed our September meeting....

Euclid Collaborative/Care Coordination Teen Group Meeting led by

Youth Advocate Leonard Davis from Catholic Charities.

We had a quiet September meeting but we do have a few announcements to share. Steph Wahome from Scenarios USA spoke about “The real deal about Masculinity” workshop which is in October.  Whoever attends will get the $400.00 curriculum for free. More info to follow. The Shorecultural Centre and Kiddie City are having a Party Planapolooza fundraiser in January 2011.  This event is for businesses to showcase their services to Euclid and surrounding communities.  If your business is used for birthday parties, anniversaries, girl’s night outs, company/organization parities, reunions, baby and bridal showers, church gatherings and other special events this is for you.  Interested businesses are encouraged to get involved in the following activities: Variety Show, Expo, Interactive Displays, Cake Decorating Contest or Party Themed Luncheon.  All proceeds will go to the Shorecultural Centre and Kiddie City.  For more information please call Sherrie Zagorc at 216 481-9044, kiddiecityeuclid@att.net or Laura Kidder at 21-289-8578, llk@thecoralcompany.com.

Reginald Clemons for the M&M Project is a mentoring program for young men.  Participants have the opportunity to become involved in an 8 week program that exposes them to positive male role models.  The M&M Project serves young men in 6–12 grades.  Course registration and completion by participants includes but is not limited to: Field Trips, Gift Certificates, Guest Speakers, Multimedia Tutorials, Awards Banquet and Bi Weekly Sessions.  Transportation is available.  Although located in the Collinwood neighborhood their service area extends to Euclid and the surrounding areas.    For more information please contact Reginald Clemons at (330) 256-4410 or life.mmunlimited@gmail.com

The Euclid Collaborative will be hosting a Strengthening Families Series starting Monday, October 11th. The program will run every Monday until the end of the year from 6-8 pm. Congrats to our Collab partner Hiram House Camp on an outstanding 39th Annual Pumpkin Festival. Many of our Foster Families enjoyed the day picking pumpkins, making candles, smores and even entering the Haunted Hay Maze.

On October 21st from 6-9pm a The Euclid Family YMCA will be hosting a SPAGHETTI DINNER at Paradise Restaurant located on Babbitt rd. in Euclid. Proceeds will benefit the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign.  Price is $10.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Children. Meal will include, pasta, salad, bread, dessert and refreshements. Please RSVP to the Euclid YMCA by October 18th.
