We had a another FULL HOUSE for our February meeting! Vanessa Davis from the Beechbrook Mom's and Mentors program came to speak to us. The M&M program is a new program available for young Mom's 17-21 who have aged out or about to age out of foster care. Beechbrook will match teen Mom's with mentors who will offer support and help them work on building relationships with their children, parenting skills, anger/stress management and basic life skills. Teen Mom's will take part in weekly classes for education and support. Incentives and snacks will be provided. For more information or to enroll please contact Vanessa at (216) 391-4069.
Strong Start will be hosting a ONE DAY workshop on Saturday, March 27th from 9am-5pm at the Harvard Community Center located at 18240 Harvard Ave. If you or your client is expecting a baby or have a child 3 months old or younger, you and your partner are unmarried and live in Cuyahoga County.....then this is the workshop to attend. The event will focus on effective communication, conflict resolution and managing finances. To enroll please call (216) 698-2371.

Moore Counseling and Mediation Services has started 2 new groups. The Homebuilders Marriage Group will run Mondays starting April 18 and end May 23. The session time is 6:30pm-8pm. The theme of the program in Improving Communication in Your Marriage. On Saturday, April 17th from 11-1pm they will be hosting the Kingdom Couples Quarterly Workshop. The topic will be

Berea Children's Home Protect/Victim Program is designed to work with youth victims of sexual abuse who are experiencing significant physical, emotional, social, cognitive and behavioral problems as a result of this abuse. Berea also has the P.R.O.T.E.C.T. program which stands for Prevent Relapse Occurrence Team with Enhanced Case management and Treatment. This program is designed to work with juveniles with sexual behavior problems who are staying in or returning to the community. For more information please call (440) 260-8300.
The Euclid PAL is holding a Teen Summer Job Training Program. The program is open to teen ages 14-17, classes start March 6th from 2-4pm. Space is limited. Please call (216) 289-2933

Strong Kids Campaign
At the YMCA of Greater Cleveland, no one is turned away because of an
inability to pay! How are we able to do this? Through the generosity of donors just like you. Our annual Strong Kids Campaign provides membership and program scholarships for more than 4,000 adults and children each year.
What Will Your Donation Mean to a Child?
- Your $50 gift to the Strong Kids Campaign will enable one child to participate in an 8-week Y Winner Sports program
- $100 will provide a child with one week of YMCA summer day camp
- $250 will provide one month of school age full-time child care
- $1,000 give a child a full summer of Y Day Camp, helping working parents keep their kids safe and stimulated all summer long!

Euclid Collaborative Happenings!
Mark your Calendars! The week of May 10th, the Euclid Collaborative will be conducting a week long FOSTER CARE BLITZ of Euclid and our new cities. If you are interested in helping with this week long event please contact Courtney Nicolai at (216) 731-7454.
The Euclid Collaborative is in the process of breaking out into 3 new Sub-Committes. Strong Kids Campaign Committee, Summer Programming Committee and Community Informational Events Commitee. The SKC Committee will focus on fundraising dollars to help benefit the Collaborative families for YMCA Memberships and programming. Our goal is to raise at lesat $5,000.00 for these families. The Summer Programming Committee will focus on locating Summer Meal Sites, partnerships for summer programming within our local apartment complexes and finally the Community Informational Event Committee will work on planning at least 2 Community Events(one in Euclid and one in our new service area) to showcase the Collab, our partners and to recruit for Foster/Adoptive families.
