In case you missed our September and October meeting…

Our September meeting Jackie King and Monica Banks-Hines from the US Census Bureau came to speak to us about the 2010 US Census. The 2010 Census will define who we are as a nation. Taken every 10 years, the Census affects political representation and directs the allocation of billions of dollars in government funding. As Community Organization, especially here in the City of Euclid, we need to be dedicated to serving the best interests of our community. If you are interested in partnering with the US Census to convey the importance of participating in the upcoming census and to ensure no one is left uncounted please contact Monica at 216-256-5008. For more information please log onto the web site below.

Euclid YMCA Happenings!

Amnesty Days

Many exciting things are coming up at the Euclid Family YMCA in November.  Amnesty week will be held November 16, 2009 through November 22, 2009.  For past YMCA members, if they rejoin during this week, we will waive the $100 joiner fee.  For those individuals joining the Euclid YMCA for the first time, we will waive half of the joiner fee, a $50 savings.

On Sunday, November 22, we are having a Community Day from Noon until 4:00 PM at the Euclid Family YMCA.  We are hosting an open house for youth and their parents to come and enjoy the Y.  We will have exercise classes for adults, family open swim, and a free Basketball Clinic for youth ages 8 to 12 and 13 to 17.  Please call the Euclid Family YMCA at (216) 731-7454 for more details.
