The Hillcrest Family YMCA is offering a Summer Teen Travel Camp for kids ages 13-15. Teens are able to experience an unforgettable summer filled with fun, learning and making new friends! Each week is packed with activities that will stimulate their minds, offer opportunities to grow as individuals and to travel to attractions throughout the Greater Cleveland Area. Teen Travel Campers are supervised by well-trained, experienced YMCA Staff.

Once your registration is received and processed, you will receive an email confirmation. Then you must print and
complete the enrollment packet listed on
the right hand side of this page and
return it to the Payment Registrar Office one week prior to you child's first day in the program.
Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must complete all areas on the form to avoid a delay in processing your registration.
Registrations will be time stamped in the
order they are received. Completion of the registration form does not guarantee space availability. |
REGISTRATION FEES
A $25 per week/per child non-refundable deposit is required in advance for each week your child will be attending. This deposit will be deducted from your weekly program fee noted above. Deposits will be deducted from you account when registration is processed.
An annual membership fee of $25 per family is required for those not currently a YMCA member or YMCA program member.
Become a full facility member when registering for summer day camp and pay a zero joiner fee - a $100 savings.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE
The YMCA has financial assistance available to those who demonstrate need on a first come first serve basis. Financial assistance forms are available (here) or at any YMCA branch. |
What We Offer
Teens will participate in three off-site field trips each week, community service projects, team building activities and swimming at the Hillcrest YMCA and Bexley Pool.
- Teen campers must purchase a pool pass from the Bexley Park Pool located at 4149 Temple Road.
- Teen campers must bring a nutritious packed lunch each day.
- Teen campers may ride their bikes or walk to camp when the YMCA permission form is completed and signed by parent/guardian.
All children ages 5-15 who are registered for the YMCA summer camp program are required to purchase a pool pass for the Bexley Pool.
*South Euclid/Lyndhurst resident passes (camp only) may be purchased for $20 at the Hillcrest YMCA.
*Non-resident passes (camp only) may be purchased for $20 at the Hillcrest YMCA.
*Full Swim Passes may be purchased at the South Euclid City Hall and copies of the pass must be submitted to Jill Irish, Child Care Director prior to your child's first day of camp.
What to Bring
Children should wear comfortable shorts, YMCA camp t-shirts, socks and tennis shoes. For safety purposes, please do not send your child in shoes that slide off of their feet.
Children should come with a non-refrigerated sack lunch and drink, water bottle, swim suit, towel and sunscreen each day. All items should be labeled with the child’s first and last name and placed in a sturdy bag or back pack.
Please, no toys from home, cell phones or money. The YMCA is not responsible for lost or stolen articles.
