Swim Lesson Categories
- Infant (6 mos.- 3 yrs. with parent)
Water orientation class that provides activities that prepare a child to move well, improve strength, flexibility, coordination, and self-confidence in the water.
Shrimp: 6-24 months (Ratio 8:1)
Perch: 24-36 months (Ratio 8:1)
- Preschool (Ages 3-5 yrs.)
This program safely introduces younger children to the water. Each level builds upon the preceding skill level to introduce the basic movements of swimming.
Pike 1: Beginner 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Pike 2: Beginner 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Eel 1: Intermediate 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Eel 2: Intermediate 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Ray 1: Advanced 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Ray 2: Advanced 3-5 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Starfish: Swim Team Level 3-5 yrs (Ratio 8:1)
- School Age (6-12 yrs.)
This program comprises five main components: personal growth, personal safety, stroke development, water sports and games, and rescue. Each skill level builds upon the preceding skill level covering all of the fundamentals.
Polliwog 1: Beginner 6-12 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Polliwog 2: Beginner 6-12 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Guppy 1: Intermediate 6-12 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Guppy 2: Intermediate 6-12 yrs (Ratio 5:1)
Minnow 1: Advanced 6-12 yrs (Ratio 6:1)
Minnow 2: Advanced 6-12 yrs (Ratio 6:1)
Fish 1: Advanced 6-12 yrs (Ratio 6:1) (New!)
Fish 2: Advanced

Shark: Swim Team Level 6-12yrs (Ratio 10:1)
Competitive Skills 6-15yrs
- Teen/Adult (13+ yrs.)
Non-swimmers are taught basic swimming skills and water safety.
AMERICAN RED CROSS LIFEGUARD CLASS
Become certified in Lifesaving, First Aid, CPR, and AED. Members/Program Members/Community Members $250
Prerequisites:
- Swim 300 yards continuously, using these strokes in the following order:
- 100 yards of front crawl using rhythmic breathing and a stabilizing propellant kick.
- 100 yards of breaststroke using a pull, breathe, kick and glide sequence.
- 100 yards of either the front crawl or breast stroke. May be a combination.
- Retrieve a 10 pound brick from the bottom of the pool and return to side in 1:30.
- Must be 15 years of age on or before the final scheduled session of this course.

& 3/31 (10a-5p), 4/1 (10a-4p)

April Session: 4/10-4/13 (8a-1p each day)

Based on appointment.
