Y Aquatics offer programs that lay a foundation of water skills and safety guidelines so participants can enjoy a lifetime of safe, healthy aquatic activities.
- Y Swim Lessons focus on teaching participants the lifelong benefits of swimming through the main components of stroke development, personal safety, personal growth, rescue and water games.
- Water fitness programs focus on the enhancement of physical fitness through movements that increase strength and endurance without putting stress or strain on the joints.
Some of the water-based activities you may choose from include:
- Y Swim Lessons (Infant/Parent, Preschool, Youth, Teen/Adult).
- Open swim times for various age groups and families.

- T-sunami Swim Team
- Water Aerobics
- Specialty Water Exercise
(Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Fibromyalgia)
The YMCA strives to teach more than just aquatic skills; we use participants' interests in aquatics to bring out their best and develop each one's potential as a person. Learning to swim can help children and adults build self-confidence and self esteem.
