Lakewood Branch Teen Programs

Coming soon to Lakewood: Y-Leaders Club

Leaders Club is one of the YMCA's most intensive and comprehensive teen programs. Young people will meet on a bi-monthly basis in small groups, working closely with their peers and a counselor on skill- and character-building activities, as well as on planning and organizing club projects. This program provides a safe haven for young people while assisting them to become confident and competent adults with a sense of belonging in their community.

Program Goal
To promote and enhance the personal growth and social skills of young people in order to develop leaders who will be a positive force in their communities.

Life-skills workshops, service-learning projects, volunteer events, academic support, recreation.
