Participation in Y Sports programs has many positive effects for children including the development of teamwork and communication skills, improved self-confidence, mental health, school success, and physical fitness.
Sports Classes
Parents are you looking for something for your child to do at the YMCA? Want to get your kids involved but aren't sure if they are ready for a league? Do you just want to get them involved in youth sports classes? If so please take a look at the following classes that we teach at the Hillcrest YMCA. We show you what you can expect your child to learn from our classes and what skills you may want to work on with them at home.
Basketball Soccer Baseball Football
Youth Sports classes run for 5 weeks and are $15 for members and $30 for program members. The next session will be Fall II - Oct. 10th - November 13th. Fall III will be from November 14th - December 18th.
Leagues
At the Hillcrest YMCA we offer a Youth Sports League every session. Most of our Youth Leagues are open for grades k-8, but grades will vary depending on the sport. Youth Basketball League
All Youth Sports Leagues follow the rules and regulations of our YMCA Youth Super Sports Packet.

Youth Basketball
Private Sports Lessons
We offer private sports lessons for youth ages 3-16. Sports include baseball, football, basketball or tennis . Please contact the Program Director to set up date(s) and time(s).
One ½ hour session: Member $15, Guest $25
5 – ½ hour sessions: Member $ 60, Guest $100
