Hillcrest Branch Y Achievers Program

Looking for something structured to do in your spare time? Let the Hillcrest Family YMCA give you a place to call your own, a chance to connect with professional adults who care about you, and an opportunity to get involved in programs that help you grow.

The goal of the Hillcrest Family YMCA’s Y-Achievers program is to assist teens ages 13-17 in establishing higher academic and career goals by helping them to develop the skills required to reach these goals.

Y-Achiever mentors, who are experts in their field, aim to provide teens with opportunities for leadership training, personal growth, and service to others.

Youth participants and mentors complete projects and field trips that are designed to provide students an opportunity to explore their interests through real-life application of skills.

Workshop activities include life-skills, service-learning projects, volunteer events, academic support, and recreation.
