WHAT IS SPORTS CAMP?

YMCA Sports Camp focuses on improving sport skills through teamwork and friendly competition. There will be a variety of sports to choose from with each session lasting one week.

Sports Camp is from 9 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Who is Sports Camp for?

Youth ages 6-12 who have interest in developing sport specific skills and making friends.

What is done in each camp?

Each camp will have the following: pool time, lunch and a movie, skills sessions, games, and free time.

Basketball Camp: Campers learn skills which help improve shooting, passing, and dribbling. Individual skill sessions will be held in the morning and team games will be played in the afternoon.

Baseball Camp: Campers will learn skills which help improve fielding and hitting. Morning sessions will focus on fielding drills and afternoon sessions will focus on hitting and games.

Fun Camp: Fun Games Camp will focus on on-traditional sports and other activities. Games will include Capture the Flag, Dodgeball, Frisbee, Arts and Crafts, etc: This week will focus on different summer time activities to have fun.

Soccer Camp: Soccer camp will focus on developing skills to improve offensive and defensive performance. Players will participate in individual skills during the morning session and focus on team games in the afternoon session.

Flag Football Camp: Flag Football Camp will focus on developing skills needed in football. Participants will learn to pass, receive, run effective routes, defend, and understand play calls. Games will take place throughout the camp.

Volleyball Camp: Participants will develop skills specific to volleyball. Morning sessions will focus on individual skills of bumping, setting, and spiking. Afternoon sessions will focus on strategy and team games.

Members: $100/wk Program Members: $125/wk

What Is Tot Camp?

YMCA Tot camp engages your potty trained 3-5 year old in fun weekly themes, while working on group participation, following instructions, and developing motor skills: all while reinforcing the core values of the YMCA.

Tot Camp morning session is from 8:30-12:00 AM and the afternoon session is from 12:30-4:00 PM   You may register for Monday through Friday or Tuesday/Thursday or Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.  Morning drop off begins at 8:30am and afternoon dropoff will begin at 12:30 PM.  Campers may not attend a morning session and an afternoon session during the same day. 

Who is Tot Camp for?

Potty trained 3-5 year olds who are ready to make friends, have fun, and learn new skills.

What is done in each camp?

Weekly fun themes, play pool, outdoor play time, snacks, crafts, and stories.

Members:  5 Day Camp $50, M,W,F Camp $30, T&TH Camp $20
Program Members: 5 Day Camp $75, M,W,F Camp $45, T&TH Camp $30
