Racquetball players

The Downtown YMCA offers regulation competition courts for your use.

Members may reserve a court up to 24 hours in advance.

Court time is scheduled on the hour. Reservations will be honored up to 10 minutes past the hour. Reservations not kept will be forfeited and become available to other members on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Handball
Handball is a game for two or four people in which players hit a small rubber ball against a wall with their hands. This fun and fast-paced game improves coordination and fitness while having fun and socializing.

Racquetball
Racquetball is a racquet sport played with a hollow rubber ball in an indoor or outdoor court. Unlike most racquet sports, such as tennis, badminton or squash, there is no obstacle - net or tin - to hit the ball over. The court's walls, floor, and ceiling are legal playing surfaces, with only the upper part of the back wall (above 12 feet) being out-of-bounds.
