The YMCA of Greater Cleveland offers a wide variety of aquatics programming. From swim lessons to Lifeguard Academy, there is something for everyone, no matter their skill level.
Adult/Teen SWIM LESSONS
Ages 13+. Provides a self-paced environment where the instructor will help the students reach their own personal swimming goals.
Arthritis Foundation Aquatics Program
A program especially designed for those with arthritis.
Healthway’s older adult group’s water fitness program designed to enhance each individual’s quality of life and daily function.
Aqua Tai Chi
This class will focus on range of motion and flexibility, with low impact and peaceful exercise.
MS Water Exercise
Specially designed program by the MS Society to help coordination, strength and balance.
Shallow water activity playing Volleyball.
A no impact workout in the deep end of the pool that uses different strides and several bilateral exercises.
This class focuses on using the natural resistance of the water to develop muscle and increase range of motion.
High intensity, low/no impact cardio workout.
High energy combinations of kicking, punching, and aerobic moves designed to keep you moving.
Movements of Zumba dance are adapted in the pool.
